Wesley Vorpahl, OD

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology from Oregon State University, Dr. Vorpahl continued his education at Pacific University. There he earned a Bachelor of Science in visual science and Doctor of Optometry degrees. He has practiced in Salem since 1983, then moved to a larger clinic at the State Street location. Dr. Vorpahl is very involved with professional development and has served as president of the Willamette Optometric Society and as director of education for the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association. He also belongs to the American Optometric Association and served on the Oregon Department of Health diabetes guideline advisory panel. His commitment to your health is reflected in Dr. Vorpahl’s on going revision of his clinic to be certain that it offers the most up-to-date materials, technology, and techniques in vision care.
